The Toadstool- Locket (Large)
This lovely brass locket includes two original watercolour paintings, featuring a magical toad and an Amanita muscaria. This piece is inspired by fairytales, folklore, and the beautiful aesthetics of the Edwardian era.
The painting details are highlighted with mica paints (so they shimmer!)
The locket is made of lightweight stamped filigree brass, and measures 2” in diameter on an 18” ROLO chain. The chain includes an additional inch long extender with a Swarovski crystal on the end, and lobster claw clasp.
The back of the locket has been sealed with a clear enamel. The paintings are unsealed: while they are recessed within the locket as a means of protection, they are not waterproof or water resistant. Do not wear your locket while swimming, showering, or in an environment where it might get wet.
